One of our signature offerings is the Rani Moong Whole, also known as the green gram, maash, or mung. This annual plant, mainly cultivated in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, is a versatile ingredient used in both savory and sweet dishes. While not all the beans will sprout, this is a natural characteristic of the mung bean and not a reflection of our product quality.

To sprout the Rani Moong Beans, simply soak them overnight, place them in a cloth-lined container with good air circulation, and mist them with water every 3-4 hours until they have sprouted. For making dal or lentils, soak the beans overnight or for at least 4-5 hours before boiling them in a pressure cooker for 35-40 minutes. Remember to season your dal with Rani's Spices, such as Garam Masala and Asafetida, for an extra delicious flavor.
